Self-serve · End-to-end hosting · No application, no middleman

Pods Offline is the self-serve platform for hosting real-world events end-to-end. You float an idea in the app, see who nearby votes for it, and host the ones your audience actually wants. The pod is yours. We just hand you the rails.

Float an idea.
Get the votes.
Host it in real life.

Why this exists

A follower count is a borrowed number.
An audience that meets up is yours.

The platform owns a follower count. An audience that has shown up for you in person, hugged the same handful of strangers, and put a date in their calendar is yours.

01

Own the relationship.

You keep the attendee list. You message them directly. If you ever leave Pods Offline, you take your members with you. We mean that.

02

Skip the platform tax.

No algorithm picks who sees your meetup. Everyone in your pod was either invited by you or actively searched for what you do.

03

Self-serve, end-to-end.

No application. No call. No "creator manager". The pod is yours from idea to last guest leaving. We just hold the rails up.

How it works

From idea
to a real-life pod.

01

Download the app.

On iOS and Android. No application, no waitlist. Set your city, pick your handle, and you can host on day one.

02

Float an idea.

Drop your pod idea into the app: "Sunday cookalong in Williamsburg", "Sunrise run in Cubbon", "Reader supper, plant-based". You don't need a date or a venue yet. Just the idea.

03

See who votes.

People nearby can upvote your idea and signal interest. You'll see the demand before you commit a Saturday morning. If it lands, you know you have a room.

04

Host the ones that land.

Lock the date, set the venue, set the cap. RSVPs go live. Photo verification kicks in automatically. The pod is yours, end to end. Pods Offline doesn't co-plan, sponsor, or curate. The voice, the place, the experience: all you.

05

Turn it into a ritual.

Recurring scheduling, attendee lists, and member messaging give you what you need to make the second, fifth, and twentieth one happen. That's where the real compounding starts.

A clear line

The pod is yours. The rails are ours.

We're a platform, not a partner. Knowing where the line is keeps everyone honest and keeps your pod yours.

▼ You do
  • Come up with the idea.
  • Pick the activity, the place, the cadence, the cap.
  • Set the price, if any.
  • Host the room. Open the door. Buy the bread.
  • Decide who's in your pod and who isn't.
▼ We do
  • Surface your idea to people nearby who'd vote it up.
  • Handle RSVPs, the cap, the waitlist, and reminders.
  • Verify every attendee with a photo check before they can join.
  • Take care of safety reports with a real trained human.
  • Stay out of your way the rest of the time.
Who this is for

If you have an audience
and a real city, you can host.

There's no follower threshold, no application, no gate. The list below is what we've seen actually work. It is not a checklist you have to pass.

▼ Works well for
  • An engaged audience on Instagram, TikTok, Substack, or YouTube. The kind that actually shows up when you ask.
  • A real city: a meaningful chunk of your audience lives within travelling distance of each other.
  • A recurring activity you'd actually enjoy hosting: cookalongs, runs, classes, suppers, walks.
  • Energy to host regularly. The compounding only works if it's a ritual.
▼ Probably won't land if
  • You're looking for a paid promo post. We're a hosting platform, not an influencer marketplace.
  • Your audience is geographically scattered (DTC e-commerce, niche software).
  • You can't commit to recurring hosting. One-off pods rarely build the thing you're after.
  • You want us to plan your event. We don't co-host. The pod is yours by design.
Creators ask us

The honest list.

Is there an application to host on Pods Offline?
No. Pods Offline is self-serve. Download the app, float a pod idea, and host the ones that get traction. There's nothing to apply for, no call to book, no creator manager to wait on.
How does the "float an idea" thing actually work?
You drop a pod idea into the app with the activity, city, and vibe. People nearby can upvote it and signal interest. You'll see the demand before you commit a date or a venue. If it lands, you turn it into a real, scheduled pod. If it doesn't, you've burned a single message instead of a Saturday morning.
Does Pods Offline help me plan the event?
No. The pod is yours, end to end. You pick the activity, the venue, the cap, the vibe, and the price. We don't co-plan or curate. We handle the platform side: discovery, RSVPs, photo verification, reminders, and safety. Then we stay out of your way.
Do I have to make sponsored content about Pods?
No. Zero content obligations. We don't pay you to post. If you want to make a Reel from your pod, great, but it's not required anywhere.
What if my pod doesn't fill?
That's exactly what the float-an-idea step is for. You only host the pods that already have signals of demand. If a real pod still ends up under-filled, our weekly city newsletters surface promising new pods to nearby members.
Can I bring multiple platforms' audiences to one pod?
Of course. Most creators on the platform drive sign-ups from Instagram, Substack, and TikTok with the same private link.
What happens if I want to leave?
You can export your attendee list at any time, including names, emails, and attendance history. Your relationship with your audience is not held hostage. We mean that.
No application. No waiting.

Stop waiting on
the algorithm.

Download Pods Offline, float your first idea, and host the one that lands.
